TODDLER derived from the word “To Toddle” means to walk unsteadily, like a child of this age. The age bracket of toddler ranges between 12-36 months old.
The first developing stage of a toddler is when he/she starts making attempts of standing upright, exerting to put his/her foot forward to walk in an unsteady motion.
During their first year, the toddlers reach their milestone by playing, learning, their ability of speaking, behavioral patterns and making different moves.
During their second developing stage, the toddlers are more aware of their surroundings. Their inquisitiveness and exploration on new things gradually increase. By this time, they can recognize names and familiar things they are associated with. To some extent they can follow the instructions and directions in their best possible way.
